Bulgaria's business climate indicator up 0.6 pct in Nov.

Xinhua, November 28, 2016 Adjust font size:

Bulgaria's total business climate indicator in November increased by 0.6 percentage points compared to the previous month, the country's National Statistical Institute (NSI) said Monday.

In November, the composite indicators on business climate in industry and retail trade increased by 1.9 percent and 3.2 percent respectively compared to October, as a result of the improved assessments and expectations about the business situation, the NSI said.

Meanwhile, the composite indicator "business climate in service sector" remained approximately to its level from the previous month.

However, the "business climate in construction" indicator decreased by 4 percentage points due to the more unfavorable construction entrepreneur assessments and expectations.

In their opinion, the inflow of new orders over the last month decreased, and their expectation about construction activity over the next three months was pessimistic, the NSI said.

The uncertain economic environment continued to be the most serious problem limiting the activity of construction enterprises. Endit
