DPRK leader gives field guidance in Samjiyon County

Kim Jong Un, top leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), has recently given field guidance in Samjiyon County in the northern province of Ryanggang, the official news agency KCNA reported Monday.

Kim, accompanied by officials, paid tribute to the statue of late leader Kim Jong Il in the county.

He visited the Samjiyon County Hall of Culture and learnt in detail about its management and operation.

Then he visited the Samjiyon Schoolchildren's Palace. During the visit, he went round various parts of the palace including rooms for the math group, the automobile group, gymnasium, the narration group, and mass political activities.

He had a photo session with the schoolchildren and teachers.

Kim also visited the Camp for Visitors to the Samjiyon Revolutionary Battle Sites. He toured to different parts of the establishment, such as the camping houses for university students and members of the Children Union to learn in detail about the reconstruction and operation of the camp.
