FINA Synchronized Swimming World Trophy to kick off in Yangzhou

With seven of the world's best teams, the FINA Synchro World Trophy 2016 is to be held in Yangzhou, China from Nov. 26-27.

China, Greece, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Russia and Ukraine will compete in Yangzhou, a city playing host to the World Trophy for the first time, after two previous editions in Beijing in 2014 and Shaoxing in 2015.

About 80 synchro swimmers will compete in five competitive events, including highlight routine, thematic duet, free routine, mixed duet and free combination as well as two performance events, solo and gala show.

China retained the overall title last year in Shaoxing for the second consecutive year, winning four golds out of five on offer. Endit
