British FTSE 100 rose 0.03 pct on Monday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Monday rose by 0.03 percent, or 2.19 points, to 6,777.96 points.

Share price of Randgold Resources increased by 3.71 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips. Fresnillo, Anglo American, Polymetal International and Pearson increased by 3.18 percent, 3.03 percent, 2.56 percent and 2.48 percent respectively.

ITV led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 2.59 percent, following by Whitbread (2.58 percent), Direct Line Insurance Group (2.48 percent), Centrica (2.20 percent) and Sky (2.15 percent). Endit
