Spanish stock market falls 0.10 pct, closes at 8,614 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 fell 0.10 percent on Monday to close at 8,614.60 points, down from the 8,622.90 points of Friday.

On Monday session, DIA shares led falls losing 3.30 percent, followed by Cellnex, Mediaset, Ferrovial, Melia Hotels and Bankinter that lost 2.18 percent, 1.96 percent, 1.56 percent, 1.16 percent and 0.95 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Mapfre shares led rises climbing 1.28 percent, followed by Indra A, Endesa, ArcelorMittal, Viscofan and Repsol that rose 1.25 percent, 1.20 percent, 1.14 percent, 1.03 percent and 1.03 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 136 points and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.64 percent, both showing no big differences when compared with Friday's closing time. Endit
