Tax revenues of Germany rise significantly in Oct.

Xinhua, November 22, 2016 Adjust font size:

Tax revenues of German federal and state governments rose significantly in October, the Federal Ministry of Finance announced on Monday.

According to the announcement, the ministry received 44 billion euros (46.68 billion U.S. dollars) last month, representing an increase of about eight percent year-on-year.

The reasons for the rise are a good economic situation, high number of employed people and an increase in standard wages this year.

The Federal Ministry of Finance expects that the economy will continue to grow in the coming months. Enditem
