Xinhua, October 29, 2016 Adjust font size:

At least five workers were killed after a metal chimney they were carrying came in contact with a live wire in India's western state of Gujarat, officials said Saturday.

The accident took place on Friday night at Mahapura area of Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan.

"Last night workers of a catering company were shifting their items after culmination of a function at a private farmhouse. Suddenly five members of the group carrying the chimney touched a 11,000 KV high tension line passing above them with its tip, resulting in their on spot death," a police official said.
