Saudi prince executed for murder

Saudi Interior Ministry announced on Tuesday the execution of a Saudi prince for shooting to death a Saudi citizen, Saudi Press Agency reported.

Prince Turki bin Saud bin Turki bin Saud Al Kabeer killed a Saudi national during a fight between a group of people four years ago.

Death penalty is the punishment for various crimes in Saudi Arabia that follow Islamic regulations in almost all walks of life. Murder, terrorism and drug-related crimes are mainly penalized with capital punishment.

The Interior Ministry spokesperson told the press that the executions that are done through the sword or shooting are carried out inside prisons. Endit
