Airport, two subway stations in St. Petersburg closed due to false alarm

Pulkovo airport and two subway stations Nevsky Prospect and Dostoevskaya were closed for inspection on Friday in St. Petersburg due to a false bomb report and unattended bags.

Local media reported that the police received an anonymous call about bomb in the airport at 4:00 p.m. local time. Passengers and airport employees were evacuated, the terminal was closed for about 2 hours. No dangerous items were found.

Nevsky Prospect and Dostoevskaya subway stations were closed earlier for an hour due to unattended bags which turned out to be garbage. Endit
