The Indonesian security forces have arrested a militant who is wife of the leader of the militant group in Indonesia's Central Sulawesi province police disclosed here Wednesday.

Tini Kalora, a member of the East Indonesian Mujahideen (MTI) which has claimed alliance with IS group, was captured in Poso of the province on Tuesday, Martinus Sitompul, spokesman of the national police said.

Tini is the wife of Ali Kalora who has taken over the leadership of the MTI after the death of its leader Santoso in a firefight in July, the spokesman said.

The security forces are hunting for Ali Kelora at its hide-out in mountainous area in Poso, he added.

With the capture of Tini, the number of militants in the armed group decreases to 12 from 39 last year.
