Trump climbs to third in world snooker rankings

Judd Trump has climbed to third place in snooker's world rankings after his victory at the European Masters.
Trump beat Ronnie O'Sullivan 9-8 in a sensational final in Bucharest on Sunday night to land the 75,000 Euro top prize, which gives him a rise of one place in the official rankings.
O'Sullivan was denied a 29th ranking title but still moves up one spot on the official list to ninth.
Mark Selby reached the semifinals in Romania and retains his stronghold on the world number one position, which he has held for 20 consecutive months.
The players in the top 16 remain the same. There are four ranking events to go until the vital cut off point for The Masters, with only the top 16 seeds to earn a place at Alexandra Palace.
