Spanish stock market rises 0.20 pct on Tuesday

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 rose 0.20 percent on Tuesday to close at 8,769 points, up from the 8,751.60 points of Monday.

On Tuesday's session, Bankinter shares led rises climbing 1.57 percent, followed by DIA, Acerinox, Melia Hotels, Mapfre and Repsol that rose 1.55 percent, 1.52 percent, 1.52 percent, 1.33 percent and 1.29 percent, respectively.

On the other hand, Mediaset shares led falls losing 1.60 percent, followed by IAG, Ferrovial, REC, Indra A and Iberdrola that lost 1.08 percent, 1.06 percent, 0.60 percent, 0.57 percent and 0.41 percent, respectively.

Spain's risk premium closed at 106.70 points and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.01 percent, both showing no big differences when compared with Monday's closing time. Endit
