Hertha Berlin have signed Allan Rodrigues de Souza from Liverpool on loan, both clubs confirmed on Friday.

The 19-year-old central midfielder will reinforce Berlin's offense for the upcoming campaign after putting pen to paper on a season-long loan deal. Allan Rodrigues de Souza, known as Allan, received the jersey number 20.

"We are pleased that we have been able to sign such a talented young player," Berlin's sporting director Michael Preetz told the club's official homepage.

Allan plays since 2015 for Premier League outfit Liverpool FC but the midfielder spent the last seasons on loan at other clubs. He played recently for Belgian club Sint-Truidense where he made nine appearances.

"I have immediately felt comfortable within the team and the club. I am therefore delighted to play for Hertha Berlin," the new arrival said.

Berlin encounter Freiburg at the first round in German Bundesliga on August 27. Endit
