Germany's benchmark DAX index unchanged

The benchmark DAX index at Frankfurt Stock Exchange on Friday closed flat and stood at 10,066.9 points.

The attack in France on Thursday weighed on prices of tourism companies and airlines. The DAX index closed nearly unchanged and it lost only 1.4 points. For the last week, the DAX index gained around 4 percent.

The sport company adidas topped the list of risers with an increase of 1.35 percent. Vonovia, a real estate company, rose by 0.83 percent. Henkel, which operates in three business areas including beauty care, laundry and adhesive technologies, advanced by 0.78 percent. The utilities company EON climbed by 0.58 percent. Bayer added 0.48 percent.

On the other hand, Volkswagen fell by 0.94 percent. Commerzbank lost 0.93 percent. Deutsche Lufthansa plunged by 0.83 percent. HeidelbergCement slipped by 0.82 percent and Allianz went down by 0.81 percent.

Bayer was the most traded share of the day with a turnover of 244.97 million euros (272.17 million U.S. dollars). Endit
