British FTSE 100 rises 3.58 pct on Wednesday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Wednesday rose by 3.58 percent, or 219.67 points, to 6,360.06 points.

Share price of Fresnillo increased by 9.52 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips. Taylor Wimpey, Anglo American, Persimmon and Berkeley Group Holdings increased by 8.93 percent, 8.06 percent, 7.44 percent and 7.37 percent respectively.

There was only three losers among the blue chips, TUI (3.82 percent), Dixons Carphone (1.93 percent) and Paddy Power Betfair (0.50 percent) on the trading day. Endit
