Spanish stock market rises 3.45 pct, closes at 8,105 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 rose 3.45 percent on Wednesday to close at 8,105.30 points, up from the 7,835 points of Tuesday.

Repsol shares led rises spiking 7.38 percent, followed by Telefonica, Cellnex, Tecnicas Reunidas, Gas Natural and Ferrovial, which shot up 6.26 percent, 6.03 percent, 4.92 percent, 4.88 percent, and 4.82 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Bankia shares led falls losing 2.28 percent, followed by Banco Popular, Mediaset, and Abertis A, which lost 1.40 percent, 0.85 percent and 0.35 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 138 points and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.2 percent, both below the 143.20 points and 1.3 percent of Tuesday closing time. Endit
