Xinhua, June 30, 2016 Adjust font size:

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu on Wednesday ordered the dismissal of the commander of the Baltic Fleet Viktor Kravtchuk and its chief of staff Sergei Popov.

The two top officers were relieved of their duties "for negligence in combat training, and distortions in reports on the real state of affairs," a Defense Ministry briefing said.
