Zhang compared the forces of anti-gravity to the powers between the rancher and the weaver girl in Chinese mythology, where the two were separated from each other on opposite sides of the Silver River (Milky Way). However, the two did their best to draw near to each other, just like the power of gravity.

As far as Zhang was concerned, physics is abstract, but people can liken it to daily images for better understanding. "The world is so complex that physicists like me hope to find a way to have a full and clear understanding of it. This belief supports me to continue myquantum mechanics research."
