The number of his fans has rocketed from 20,000 to about 4 million in the past several years thanks to Zhang's efforts, according to the forum.

"Actually, I was a major in plant protection, the science and practice of managing plants and insects. Obviously, it is inseparable from my interest in nature. When I took over the editing of the magazine, I tried every way to attract more fans by linking things to what I learned before. Luckily, it worked," talked Zhang.

Zhang recommended four ways for aspiring individuals to interact with their fans while keeping passion alive in these relationships. "Love it, enjoy it, and do it better."
