Dollar in upper 104 yen zone in early Tokyo trading

The U.S. dollar changed hands at the upper 104 yen level in early Tokyo trading Thursday.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 104.62-63 yen compared with 104.40-50 yen in New York and 104.38-40 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Wednesday.

The euro fetched 1.1328-1328 dollars and 118.51-53 yen against 1.1291-1301 dollars and 117.94-118.04 yen in New York and 1.1273-1275 dollars and 117.67-71 yen in Tokyo late Wednesday afternoon. Endit
