Political advisors discuss employment of veterans

China's political advisors discussed employment and entrepreneurship of former military personnel during a bi-weekly consultation session on Thursday.

Members of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee agreed that better resettlement of former soldiers is of vital importance to defending reform and development.

They suggested that more financial support, targeted policies and training opportunities be given to military personnel to help them find jobs or start businesses of their own after they retire from the military. Endi
