Xinhua, June 3, 2016 Adjust font size:

A new human case of the H7N9 avian flu strain has been reported in Beijing, the city's health and family planning commission announced on Thursday night.

The patient tested positive for H7N9 on May 26, and is still receiving medical treatment, the commission said.

H7N9 is a bird flu strain first reported to have infected humans in March 2013 in China. It is most likely to strike in winter and spring. Endi
