Xinhua, June 1, 2016 Adjust font size:

China's manufacturing sector expansion remains steady in May, official data showed on Wednesday.

The purchasing managers' index (PMI) came in at 50.1 in May, the same as April, according to the National Bureau of Statistics and the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing.

A reading above 50 indicates expansion, while a reading below 50 reflects contraction. Endi
