Dollar moves in upper 110 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 110 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Wednesday, largely in line with levels seen overnight in New York.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 110.65-73 yen compared with 110.67-77 yen in New York and 111.13-15 yen at 5 p.m. in Tokyo on Tuesday.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1133-1134 and 123.20-21 yen against 1.1125-1135 dollars and 123.20-30 yen in New York and 1.1125-1127 dollars and 123.63-67 yen, in late afternoon trade in Tokyo. Endit
