Xinhua, June 1, 2016 Adjust font size:

Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen flew to Malaysia on Wednesday for a global economic forum and an official visit, a government official said.

Hun Sen would attend the 25th World Economic Forum on ASEAN in Kuala Lumpur on June 1-2, then he would pay an official visit in Malaysia on June 3-4, said Sry Thamarong, minister attached to the prime minister.

"At the closing ceremony of the World Economic Forum on June 2, host Malaysia will hand over the ceremonial Swiss Bell to Samdech Techo Prime Minister, the next host of the World Economic Forum on ASEAN in 2017," he told reporters at Phnom Penh international airport before departure.

The official said that during the official visit, Hun Sen would hold talks with his Malaysian counterpart Najib Razak before the two leaders witness the signing ceremony of three documents on information and broadcasting cooperation, International Volunteer Program of MYCorps in Cambodia, and agriculture cooperation.

Hun Sen's entourage includes his wife Bun Rany and several ministers as well as a group of businessmen, he said. Enditem
