U.S. dollar rises against most major currencies

The U.S. dollar rallied against most major currencies on Wednesday as the newly-released Federal Reserve minutes showed the central bank may raise interest rate earlier than expected this year.

In late New York trading, the euro fell to 1.1229 dollars from 1.1316 dollars in the previous session, while the dollar bought 109.93 Japanese yen, higher than 109.10 in the previous session. Endit
