Albania exempts visa requirement for summer visitors from six countries

Xinhua, May 15, 2016 Adjust font size:

Visitors from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Russia, Georgia and Belarus won't need a visa to travel to Albania during the summertime, Albanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Saturday.

In a bid to boost tourism, the Albanian government decided to remove visa requirement from May 15 to Nov. 1 this year for visitors from the above countries, whose citizens can enter Albania with their national passports.

The decision follows a proposal by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Economic Development, Tourism, Trade and Entrepreneurship. Endi
