Xinhua, May 12, 2016 Adjust font size:

Five people were killed and 32 others injured on Thursday when a tour bus overturned in Turkey's western city of Canakkale, Turkish media reported.

The bus spun out of control and overturned on its way to the Gallipoli Peninsula, the Hurriyet daily said.

The bus was carrying Turkish citizens from Istanbul to a Turkish military cemetery on the peninsula as part of a culture tour, the daily quoted Hamza Erkal, governor of Canakkale province, as saying.

The wounded were taken to nearby hospitals in Canakkale and the cause of the accident has yet to be established, Hurriyet said. Endit
