Albanian economy projected to grow at 3.2 pct in 2016: central bank

The Bank of Albania projects Albania's economy to grow 3.2 percent in 2016, the governor of the Bank of Albania Gent Sejko said Wednesday.

Sejko said several factors caused an economic decline in 2015.

"Economic growth in 2015 was 2.6 percent, affected by the economic crisis in Greece and flooding in the country," he stated.

Sejko expressed optimism for this year, saying the International Monetary Fund predicted growth at 3.4 percent. Endit
