Urgent: Powerful blast rocks Lebanon's Sidon

A powerful explosion hit the southern Lebanese city of Sidon on Tuesday, targeting an official of the Palestinian Fatah movement, a security source told Xinhua.

The fate of the official is still unknown, the source said.

Witnesses said that a booby-trapped car caused the blast that left an unspecified number of injuries. Endit
