China's top nuclear envoy to visit Japan

China's special representative for Korean Peninsula affairs Wu Dawei will pay a visit to Japan in early April, said Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hong Lei on Friday.

Wu will talk to the Japanese about the resumption of the six-party talks aimed at denuclearizing the Korean Peninsula, said Hong at a regular press briefing.

The six-party talks, convening the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, the Republic of Korea, China, the United States, Russia and Japan, have been stalled since late 2008. Endi
