British FTSE 100 decreases 0.46 pct on Thursday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Thursday decreased by 0.46 percent, or 28.27 points, to 6,174.90 points.

Share price of TUI increased by 4.96 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips. Glencore, Anglo American, Inmarsat and InterContinental Hotels Group increased by 3.79 percent, 3.06 percent, 2.02 percent and 1.70 percent respectively.

Pearson led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 3.37 percent, following by Next (2.88 percent), Old Mutual (1.83 percent), Barratt Developments (1.75 percent) and Wm Morrison Supermarkets (1.68 percent). Endit
