Spanish stock market rises 0.70 pct, closes at 8,870 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 rose 0.70 percent on Wednesday to close at 8,870.20 points, up from 8,808.30 points of Tuesday.

On Wednesday session, DIA shares led rises climbing 4.39 percent, followed by ACS, Acerinox, ArcelorMittal, Tecnicas Reunidas, Gamesa and Sacyr that rose 3.91 percent, 3.54 percent, 3.45 percent, 3.03 percent, 2.63 percent and 2.50 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Endesa shares led falls losing 1.03 percent, followed by Iberdrola, Banco Sabadell, R.E.C., Mapfre, Bankia and FCC that lost 0.72 percent, 0.49 percent, 0.40 percent, 0.15 percent, 0.12 percent and 0.09 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 126.90 points, which was slightly above the 122 points of Tuesday. Endit
