IoT Asia 2016 kicks off in Singapore

Singapore's Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister-in-Charge of the country's Smart Nation Initiative Vivian Balakrishnan on Wednesday launched IoT Asia 2016, which returns with its third and largest edition at Singapore EXPO Convention and Exhibition Center.

Themed "Closing the gap: From vision to reality", this edition of IoT Asia reveals new insights on emerging trends, new key technologies and directions for the proliferation of Internet of Things (IoT) in Asia. It will also stimulate in-depth discussions to drive business collaborations in the region and undertake the real nuts and bolts of IoT implementation to make it a reality.

This year's exhibition is based on six complementary thematic zones, namely smart cities, IoT data analytics, Industrial IoT (IIoT), design applications, wearables and enablers, which showcases innovative, new and emerging key technologies, and spotlights four Group Pavilions.

Visitors can expect a wide range of IoT solutions and live product demonstrations from over 90 sponsors and exhibitors including platform solutions, cloud services, data analytics, and data science etc.

The two-day conference component of IoT Asia 2016 also features over 100 international speakers and industry experts who share insights across five tracks focused on smart cities, IoT data analytics, design applications, wearables and IIoT. Enditem
