-- Cholera cases in Zambia have continued increasing and the country has now recorded over 500 cases since the water-borne disease broke out last month.

The Judiciary and Allied Workers Union of Zambia has warned that Lungu risks being voted out during general elections scheduled for this year if he does not reverse the decision. The Civil Servants and Allied Workers Union of Zambia said it was immoral for Lungu and his cabinet to get huge salary hikes and leave the hardworking public workers languishing with peanuts.
