British FTSE 100 rises 0.13 pct on Tuesday

FTSE 100 Index, the British benchmark stock market gauge, Tuesday rose by 0.13 percent, or 8.16 points, to 6,192.74 points.

Share price of Johnson Matthey increased by 2.96 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips.

Shire, Paddy Power Betfair, Provident Financial and 3i Group increased by 2.60 percent, 2.38 percent, 2.20 percent and 2.05 percent respectively.

TUI led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 2.79 percent, following by Standard Life (2.49 percent), Capita (2.29 percent), Barclays (2.06 percent) and Land Securities Group (1.64 percent). Endit
