Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) stepped up security measures Tuesday after the Brussels terrorist attacks, said Denis Zvizdic, Chairman of Council of Ministers.

Zvizdic chaired an emergency meeting to discuss terror threats, participated by senior officials from police and intelligence departments.

A Coordination Committee or Task Force was established to coordinate security structures, said Zvizdic, adding the government will do its best to keep the public safe.

There was more police presence in front of Parliament Building, the Presidency, Sarajevo Airport and other important locations in Sarajevo.

Earlier on the day, BiH Presidency issued a statement to strongly condemn the terrorist attacks in Brussels. Endit
