Houston Rockets beat Minnesota Timberwolves 116-111

The Houston Rockets luckily beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 116-111 at the Toyota Center on Friday night.

The Rockets have won 10 of their last 11 games against Timberwolves, including seven straight at home.

The Rockets had a good start to lead the first quarter 31:23, but gave up in the second quarter 23:29 for a slim lead 54:52 at the half time. After the half break, the Rockets won the third quarter 34:26, but lost the fourth quarter 28:33.

Six Rockets players scored in double-figures. James Harden led the Rockets with 29 points and 14 assists, Patrick Beverley had 18 points, both Michael Beasley and Donatas Motiejunas scored 17 points apiece, Trevor Ariza and Dwight Howard added 15 points and 10 points respectively.

For the Timberwolves, Karl-Anthony Towns scored 32 points with 11 rebounds, his teammates Andrew Wiggins and Shabazz Muhammad added 21 points and 12 points respectively. Endit
