Xi sends condolences over Cote d'Ivoire terror attack

Chinese President Xi Jinping has extended condolences to his Cote d'Ivoire counterpart Alassane Ouattara over a recent fatal terrorist attack in the western African country.

Xi sent the message on Thursday after Cote d'Ivoire's seaside resort of Grand-Bassam was attacked on Sunday by assailants of Al-Qaida in the Islamic Maghreb, in which at least 19 were killed. Endi
