Cambodian defense minister Gen. Tea Banh will fly to Bangkok next week, where he is scheduled to meet with his Thai counterpart Gen. Prawit Wongsuwan to discuss continued cooperation along the border, the defense ministry said in a statement on Saturday.

The two ministers will meet in the 11th meeting of Cambodia-Thailand General Border Committee, which will be held on March 23 and 24, the statement said.

"The meeting will be focused on three important topics, covering security affairs, relations and cooperation, and development along the border of the two countries," it said.

Cambodia shares more than 800 km border with Thailand to the north and west. Enditem
