Indian PM's wax figure to be unveiled at Madame Tussauds museums soon

Xinhua, March 16, 2016 Adjust font size:

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will soon be a resident at Madame Tussauds museums in London, Singapore, Hong Kong and Bangkok.

His wax figure will be unveiled, most likely in April, at the museum's four branches.

Sources said Wednesday that the celebrated wax museum has already proposed to Modi and he has also given several settings at his official residence in the Indian capital.

A Youtube video released by the museum says Modi's figure will be dressed in his traditional kurta (Indian dress) and will be featured in a pose of namaste (greeting).

Madame Tussauds has already created wax figures of several Indian political leaders like Mahatma Gandhi and Indira Gandhi and Bollywood actors like Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan. Endit
