Xinhua, March 15, 2016 Adjust font size:

Three migrants, two men and one woman drowned in the waters of Suva Reka river near the southern Macedonian town of Gevgelija on Monday while attempting to cross.

According to information from the Macedonian interior ministry, they were part of a bigger migrant group that entered Macedonia illegally and were trying to transit the country. The surviving 23 migrants in this group were taken to the transition camp near Gevgelija where they received first health aid.
