Xinhua, March 14, 2016 Adjust font size:

China's top political advisor Yu Zhengsheng praised news coverage of the top political advisory body's annual session, saying inspirational stories had emerged from the meeting, which concluded Monday.

Yu met with representatives from China Central Television, China National Radio, "China Daily," "Economic Daily," "Guangming Daily," "The People's Daily," and Xinhua News Agency after the closing of the session of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).

The news providers gave full coverage of CPPCC members performing their duties, telling China stories, CPPCC stories and stories about consultative democracy in a constructive and inspirational manner, Yu said.

The media has maintained the correct political stance and spread positive energy while reporting on the session, he said. Endi
