Chinese state councilor meets FBI director

Chinese State Councilor Guo Shengkun met with Director of U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation James Comey on Monday, pledging to strengthen law enforcement cooperation.

Guo, who is also public security minister,called on the two sides to fully implement the consensus reached by the leaders of two countries, enhance strategic mutual trust and respect each others' core interests to promote building a new model of major-country relationship.

The two sides agreed to have more pragmatic cooperation in cyber security and anti-terrorism. Endit
