Five-time champion Lin Dan fought back from one set down to beat Japan's Sho Sasaki and reach the third round of the All England Open Championships here on Thursday.

World No. 4 Lin, also a double Olympic champion, lost 22-20 in the first but made it easy in the following two sets, winning 21-6, 21-8.

He will next take on third seed Jan Jorgensen, who breezed past NG Ka Long Angus of Hong Kong, China, 1-13, 21-16 in just 35 minutes.

"I made some mistakes in the first set. But I then played more consistently and gave him no chance," Lin said.

"Jorgensen is a top player in the world. I look forward to the clash with him," he said. Enditem
