Indian stocks close higher

Indian stocks pared all losses of early trade to close higher on Wednesday despite the weak trend seen in global markets.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 24,793.96, 134.73 points or 0.55 percent up from the previous close of 24,659.23, with a turnover of 489.90 crore rupees (about 72.6 million U.S. dollars). Endit
