Robinho hopes to play 90 minutes in Copa Libertadores

Xinhua, March 9, 2016 Adjust font size:

Brazil forward Robinho said he hopes to play the full 90 minutes for new club Atletico Mineiro this week in the Copa Libertadores.

After scoring a hat-trick this past weekend in the state championship, the 32-year-old believes he is now just three games away from full match fitness.

Atletico take on Chilean side Colo-Colo away from home on Wednesday in a battle for first place in their group.

So far, Atletico have two wins from their two group games in the continental competition, with Colo-Colo in second place on four points.

However, Robinho demonstrated confidence in a press conference that the Brazilian club can overcome their opponents and make it three wins on the bounce in the Copa Libertadores. Endit
