Road accident kills 6 in NE China

Six people died and seven sustained injuries in a coach-truck collision on Thursday morning in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, the local authority said.

The accident happened around 7:30 a.m. when an overtaking coach with 16 passengers on board crashed into a parked truck in Longjiang County, the county government said in a statement.

Six of the coach passengers died at the scene. The seven injured, including two in serious condition, are being treated at hospital, the statement said.

The bus driver has been detained for questioning. Endi
