Urgent: Gold up on weaker U.S. dollar

Gold futures on the COMEX division of the New York Mercantile Exchange rose on Wednesday on a weaker U.S. dollar.

The most active gold contract for April delivery rose 3.2 U.S. dollars, or 0.26 percent, to settle at 1,211.40 dollars per ounce. Enditem
