Spanish stock market rises 2.79 pct

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 rose 2.79 percent on Wednesday to close at 8,364.90 points, up from the 8,137.60 points of Tuesday.

On Wednesday's session, ArcelorMittal shares led rises soaring 11.79 percent, followed by OHL, Repsol, ACS, Bankia and Banco Santander that spiked 8.50 percent, 5.47 percent, 4.88 percent, 4.71 percent and 4.27 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Tecnicas Reunidas shares led falls losing 2.36 percent, followed by Enagas, Indra A and Endesa that lost 1.50 percent, 1.02 percent and 0.22 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 146.50 points and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate stood at 1.74 percent, both showing no big differences when compared with Tuesday. Endit
